Christmas Fair 2025

Our Christmas Fair was held on 29th November 2025. Now an annual event, it gets bigger and better every year!

This year we extended from the church hall into the church itself.

The church stall offered a variety of home-made cakes, biscuits, sweets, savouries and preserves, many beautifully wrapped to be presented as gifts. Plants featured this year for the first time, and we sold the wonderful ‘Amberley Goes Wild’ calendar, featuring nature photographs by local photographers and compiled by Richard Sharman. St Mary’s, North Stoke, which is within the parish, also ran a stall selling a wide range of preserves.

Our outside stall-holders, of whom there were more this year, included beautiful clothes and cushions, organic and natural soaps, childrens’ books, original Christmas decorations, yoga/relaxation mats, candles, decorated gingerbread – and reflexology!

Santa was there of course, with his lucky dip, assisted by two small elves.

The fair raised just over £1,000 for the Hallraisers’ church hall upgrade, a great start to the third and final stage of the project.
