Funerals, Interments and Memorials

Funerals usually arise with little warning but we will do all possible to support you at this difficult time with arrangements for a service at church or crematorium, burial in the churchyard or burial of ashes at a later date.

Anyone who lives in the parish has the right to burial there, and this may be possible for others with strong local connections.

There are regulations governing the way in which graves are cared for and the types of memorial that can be used.

Records are held of the positions of the memorial stones and burials. To find a relative, or to have an entry made in the Book of Remembrance, please contact the Churchwarden of the relevant parish.
